Amy Houck is a lyricist, producer, poet, and writer who blends emotion, rhythm, and reflection into one powerful art form. Her work moves between poetry and music, capturing moments of heartbreak, healing, and truth. Her book The Bare Minimum is a raw and vulnerable collection of poems about love, loss, and learning your worth.
What began on the page evolved into sound. Amy wrote and produced songs inspired by her book, turning poetry into an immersive, soul-baring experience. Her debut single, Your Phone, brings the first poem from The Bare Minimum to life and captures what it feels like to be close to someone who feels far away. As both a writer and musician, Amy creates work that makes people feel seen and understood. Her art is honest, emotional, and unapologetically human.

The poetry book that inspired the album:
the bare minimum
The Bare Minimum started as my poetry book ... raw, real, and unfiltered. I always said the bare minimum wasn’t about doing less, it was about stripping life down to what’s true. Those words turned into songs, and that vision became an album. It’s my heart on paper, now alive in sound. Read the original work.
